I’m Marilyn part bargain hunter, part note-taker, wholly convinced that everyday life gets better with the right small things.

For years, my kitchen table was covered in notepads: prices compared, warranties scribbled down, small experiments in whether the cheaper version really held up. It started because money was tight and I wanted to get it right the first time. It continued because I genuinely enjoyed it.

Somewhere along the way friends and family started calling first. “Which one should I buy?” “Is this app a scam?” “Where can I find that for less?” I’d send back a long message with everything I’d learned, and more than once someone said: you should write this down where other people can see it.
So here we are. Bright Path Finds is where I put the answers—products worth the money, resources worth your time, and ways to save or earn that don’t ask you to give up your dignity or your data.

What I promise you

  • If something popular isn't worth it, I'll say that clearly.
